We need computers in our lives. That is a fact. We use them to optimize our work and to increase our productivity. We also use them for pleasure. The truth is that computers have increased the quality of our lives.

It has never been easier to keep in touch with the current events all over the planet. The internet keeps us all connected to one another. You can communicate with a person on the other side of the world in real time, with no delays. Even more, you can make video calls to your relatives that live in another city or country. The internet makes it possible to make new friends through social media sites and share comments, pictures and videos with them instantly.

You know how to use your computer to do your work or to navigate the internet and that is probably the extent of your knowledge. For more there is the IT guy. That is who you call when you have problems with your computer. You do not need or want to know how everything works, you just want it to work as best as possible.

There are many types of servers, but they all serve the same general purpose: they manage the network resources. Servers do not have to be computers. They can also be applications. You can use more than one dedicated server to meet your needs. You could even use a single computer to run more than one servers if you have a small business.

Buying a new server is a big decision. You need to be very careful not to make a bad decision. There are many factors that have to be considered and they are all important. You should know if the server's configuration will meet your needs. If it does not, your productivity will diminish. You should always look for something that exceeds your current needs and that will allow future upgrades in case your business expands.
